Where Nature Becomes Art . Slow down and truly see. Notice the textures, colors, and light. How does the light play on the leaves? What patterns do you see in the bark or the fallen branches?
Imagine stepping into a forest where every rustle of leaves, every ray of sunlight filtering through the canopy, and every ancient tree trunk tells a story. “Experience the Forest as Art” is an invitation to engage with nature not just as a backdrop, but as a dynamic and captivating work of art in itself.
British multimedia artist Ellie Davies makes us think a little bit harder about this relationship, as she showcases forests as a fusion of nature, culture, and human activity.

This concept encourages a deeper, more mindful interaction with natural environments, highlighting the aesthetic and emotional power of forests. It asks you to observe the intricate details: the delicate patterns of moss on bark, the vibrant hues of wildflowers, the sculptural forms of branches, and the symphony of natural sounds.

Listen to the birdsong, the wind through the trees, and the crunch of leaves underfoot. Smell the earthy scent of the soil and the fragrance of pine needles. Feel the roughness of bark and the softness of moss.

Davies treats the forest like an art installation. For the last 7 years, she has engaged with the wooded landscape in a wide range of fascinating ways.

Davies is still working on expanding her Stars series and has several other series in the works.
