Negin Hedayat artistic vision is realized through a diverse range of media

Negin Hedayat is a multidisciplinary artist and educator whose work spans drawing, painting, animation, film, and photography. She holds an MFA in Drawing and Painting from California State University, Fullerton (2021). She also has a Bachelor of Science from overseas. Additionally, she earned a Diploma in Animation from Ottawa, Canada.

Hedayat’s artistic vision is realized through a diverse range of media. Her paintings and drawings explore “the interplay of light and shadow.” They also delve into “narrative explorations of cultural identity” or present “abstract interpretations of the natural world.” She has pursued her passion for moving images. She studied film and photography. She participated in two feature films. She also wrote and directed three short films.

Since 2009, Hedayat has dedicated herself to arts education. She shares her expertise with students of all levels. These teachings occur in both academic and non-academic settings. Her teaching portfolio includes:
